Ranked 20th in the nation, and first in Texas since 2006 for obtaining National Institutes of Health (NIH) funding, Baylor won more than $410 million in total research funds in fiscal 2014. Baylor operates 36 research centers and 8 academic centers, as well as more than 100 faculty research laboratories. Baylor staff provide patient care at numerous independently-run facilities, cooperating healthcare institutions, and affiliated hospitals.
Articles listed here are a tiny fraction of the research literature produced by Baylor authors; papers published by BCM faculty and researchers number in the thousands annually.
