Located within the Texas Medical Center, the school provides a unique collaborative research and learning environment in Biomedical Informatics. The school's mission is interdisciplinary graduate education and research, bringing together the engineering, computer and biological sciences. The educational programs lead to a Certificate, Masters degree or a Doctoral degree in Health Informatics. Focus areas include: Clinical Informatics, Computational Biomedicine, Learning & Technology, and Public Health Informatics.
