Located within the Texas Medical Center, UT-SHIS provides a unique collaborative research and learning environment in Biomedical Informatics. The school's mission is interdisciplinary graduate education and research, bringing together the engineering, computer and biological sciences.The educational programs lead to Certificates in Health Informatics and Public Health Informatics, a Masters degree, or a Doctoral degree in Health Informatics. Focus areas include: Clinical Informatics, Computational Biomedicine and Learning & Technology.
