Abstract

Recent literature has identified family-related outcomes as a significant indicator of the global burden of HIV/AIDS. Addressing the global HIV epidemic in terms of family-centered intervention is critical for maximizing the relief of burden on children affected by HIV and their family members. To identify such interventions, we conducted a scoping review of studies that used family-strengthening programs to improve the health of HIV-affected families. This paper provided an overview of the effectiveness of family-strengthening program in terms of the efforts to strengthen families affected by HIV and AIDS.
