The Thomas Dow Collection on Dentistry consists of books on dentistry, dental journals, and the records of dental societies. While focused on late 19th century and early 20th century works, this international collection contains some manuscripts dating back to the 1600s.

Michigan Dentist Thomas Dow, DDS built his extensive collection over more than fifty years. In the early 1960s, the University of Texas Dental Branch (UTDB) Library acquired Dr. Dow’s collection. In 2010, this collection and other historical books on dentistry were transferred to The TMC Library.
