Abstract
Ms. Goff, who has served as Director of Special Projects for MD Anderson Hospital since 1951, talks about her youth in Kenedy, Texas and her early interest in political matters. Some of her first positions included working in the legislative offices in Austin, acting as an aide to Governor O'Daniel and Budget Officer for the Senate Finance Committee. It was during these years in Austin that she cultivated a close association with members of the legislature. (Continued in Part 2). See more at https://archives.library.tmc.edu/avv-ic084-059.
