Abstract
Former Executive Vice President and Dean of UTMB in Galveston, Dr. Leake began his administrative duties there in 1942, a time when the school was experiencing much turmoil. He led the institution out of this problem era and became active in health care endeavors on a state-wide basis. He worked closely with TMC pioneers such as Drs. Fred Elliott, Bill Bertner and Lee Clark and was instrumental in the early development of the TMC. See more at https://archives.library.tmc.edu/avv-ic084-067.
