Abstract

  • Ichthyosis uteri is a rare condition describing extensive endometrial keratinization.

  • There may be an association with squamous cell carcinoma of the endometrium.

  • Endometrial extension of cervical malignancy may closely resemble ichthyosis.

  • A hysterectomy should be considered in patients who have completed childbearing.
