Abstract
A practicing dentist in Houston for 50 years, Dr. Winston has served in a leadership capacity in many dental societies through the years - on local, state, national and international levels. He describes his humble beginnings in Tyler, Texas, the encouragement he received from his parents to pursue an education and the struggle of starting a practice during the depression.
