Author Biographical Info

Texas Children’s Hospital admitted its first patient in February 1954 and is among the largest pediatric hospitals in the US. It is affiliated with Baylor College of Medicine and was a contributor to the establishment of the Texas Heart Institute. Over the decades, it has pioneered treatments such as in-home care for respiratory failure; separation of conjoined twins; treatment and management of severe combined immunodeficiency (SCID).

Abstract

Texas Children's Hospital Historical Archives contains 10 cubic feet of processed material and 79 boxes of unprocessed material. The later is labeled as the TCH Historical Archives and arrived in the HRC in 2008. See more at IC 042.
