Thomas Jefferson Gazley (1798-1853) was a physician, legislator, delegate at the Convention of 1836 and signer of the Texas Declaration of Independence. Gail Borden, Jr. (1801-1874) was an inventor, publisher, surveyor, and founder of the Borden (milk) Company.
