Abstract

A Read & Publish license allows libraries to provide their affiliated author's open-access publishing options at no additional cost, or at a discount rate. Under this type of publisher license, once an author’s manuscript is accepted, the Article Processing Charges (APC) are either discounted or eliminated at the point of payment. The pricing model and approval process varies widely among publishers.
