McGovern Historical Center (MHC) at the Texas Medical Center Library (The TMC Library) preserves and provides access to the historical collections and rare materials of the Texas Medical Center’s (TMC) institutions, faculty, and staff. The MHC has notable rare book and archival collections on the history of the TMC, foundations of medicine, rheumatology, public health, psychiatry, and the effects of radiation.

Many photographs from various collections provide coverage to specific topics. many topics covered throughout these collections, quite a few are museums around the country and the world in this gallery, featuring some from Teresa Hayes, MD, PhD Papers, Mac Suzuki Photograph Collection, Texas Healthcare Facilities Postcard Collection and Armin Weinberg Photographs and Papers.
