Journal of Nursing & Interprofessional Leadership in Quality & Safety (JoNILQS) is an open-access, peer-reviewed online journal published semi-annually in spring and fall under the editorship of members of the faculty at The Baylor College of Medicine, Section of Academic General Pediatrics.

This journal aims to provide a unique focus on small-scale quality improvement and safety initiatives that may serve as models for the large-scale application of similar processes and initiatives. The overall goal of the journal is to share ways to improve outcomes in healthcare systems. There is a strong commitment and focus on interprofessional initiatives that provide practical, evidenced-based solutions for healthcare issues.

JoNILQS charges no article processing fees. All content is published under a Creative Commons Attribution-Non-Commercial-No Derivatives (CC BY-NC-ND) license. In accordance with the terms of that license and with the Budapest Open Access Initiative's definition of open access, users have the non-embargoed right to read, download, copy, print, search, distribute, and link to the full text of all articles in this journal, provided the original work is accurately and appropriately cited.

Any failure of Journal of Nursing & Interprofessional Leadership in Quality & Safety to exercise or enforce any right or provision stated in the Policies or the Submission Agreement does not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. If any term of either the Submission Agreement or the Policies is found to be invalid, the parties nevertheless agree that the court should endeavor to give effect to the parties' intentions as reflected in the provision, and the other provisions of the Submission Agreement and the Policies remain in full force and effect.
