Abstract

The Joyce E. Yost, PhD papers consist of 7 boxes and contains newspaper clippings, correspondence, printed material, speeches, magazines, newsletters, manuals, books, studies, reports, reprints, prophylactic material, financial documents, and meeting minutes and materials that document Yost’s doctoral dissertation research. Collection includes information related to the Montrose Clinic and AIDS Foundation Houston (AFH), and other AIDS organizations, activist groups and programs, See more at MS 208.

Comments

Joyce Yost donated her papers to the McGovern Historical Collections and Research Center in 1997. The collection was received and organized by Elizabeth White. The material underwent minimal in-house conservation by the archivists. The collection was processed by Traci Patterson under the direction of the McGovern Archivist in May 2018.
