Author Biographical Info

Judson Ludwell Taylor was born August 5, 1881, at New Waverly, Texas. He died November 28, 1944. Doctor Taylor was a surgeon and served as Commander in the United States Navy. He was a founding member of the American Board of Surgery. He lead the formation of a permanent blood plasma bank for the Gulf Coast area. He served as president of the State Medical Association and Harris County Medical Society, and was instrumental in developing the Post-Graduate Medical Assembly of South Texas.
