Author Biographical Info

Dr. Copeland attended the University of Houston from 1968 to 1972 before graduating cum laude from Rice University in psychology in 1975. She completed a Master’s in 1978 and a Ph.D. in 1979, both from the University of Houston. From 1979 to 2003 she was chief of the Behavioral Medicine Section of the Department of Pediatrics at UT MD Anderson Cancer Center.
