The Nexus Review is a student-run, peer-reviewed health policy journal founded in 2023 and managed by Students for Social Organization, Advocacy, and Policy. Through a collection of high-quality scholarly articles researched and written by medical students, Nexus aims to explore many sections of health policies including but not limited to: Public Health, Healthcare Access, Health Insurance, Health Equity and Disparities, Mental Health, and Substance Abuse, Pharmaceutical and Drug, Medical Research and Development, Global Health, Emergency Preparedness and Response, Patient Rights and Privacy, Health Technology and Telemedicine, and End-of-Life Care and Ethics. Our mission is to promote discussion and enact change within the healthcare system, locally and globally while encouraging students to become familiar with the op-ed writing style as a tool for patient advocacy.
