Dr. Karen Billings discusses how working at a non-profit trade association has provided a unique perspective on how schools are using technology to support the teaching and learning process.
Author Biography
As Vice President of Software & Information Industry Association's Education Division, Dr. Billings drives strategic direction, programs, and initiatives for the 200 company members who provide technology products and services to the K-12 and post secondary markets. She has 45 years of experience in the industry and in K-12 and post secondary classrooms. She has authored four books and numerous articles for education journals, and is a frequent speaker at education conferences.
