Invited Commentary on "Sexual Violence against Girls in Schools: Addressing the Gaps between Policy and Practice in Awaso, Ghana"
Author Biography
Dr. Christabelle Sethna is an Associate Professor in the Institute of Women’s Studies and the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Ottawa. She has a PhD in the History of Education. Her main topics of research are transnational histories of sex education, contraception and abortion. She has a special interest in sexual and reproductive health for women and girls and teaches about globalization, anti-racism and anti-colonialism. She is currently involved in two research projects, one dealing with the gendering of state surveillance and the other focusing on wartime rape in Germany and Bosnia.
